Anacortes is a fairly small town, but for a town its size it features a lot of public art, including a number of sculptures and murals, historical images, and other items. I like discovering the various examples as I walk around the downtown area.
The Bird Family Sculpture (Z04A0004)
The Bird Family is the creation of sculptor Philip McCracken.
Historical Mural (Z04A0003)
There are a number of traditional and raised murals in downtown Anacortes.
Whimsical Flower Planter (Z12A0011)
Perhaps this isn't public art in the traditional sense, but downtown businesses add their own touches to the streets of Anacortes.
