Roadside Prayer Chapel

Creston, Washington

N side of Hwy 2, just east of town

There is a small roadside chapel just east of Creston. It was built by Deb and Cheryl Copenhaver on their ranch along Highway 2. Deb Copenhaver was the World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider in 1955 and 1956, and was inducted into the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.

Standing near the chapel is a sculpture of a cowboy praying. A plaque dedicates the sculpture in Deb's honor.

Visitors are invited to Stop, Rest and Pray.
