Elbe is home to the largest collection of train cabooses in Washington. Many of the cabooses have been fitted with beds, bathrooms, showers and so on, and together now comprise the Hobo Inn. Some even have jetted tubs, and one has a kitchenette. If you're looking for a unique vacation getaway, the Hobo Inn might be for you. And it's at a great location, too, not far from the southwest entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park.
The village of Elbe is small, but has all the basic travel amenities. And the Hobo Inn itself is affiliated with the Mt. Rainier Railroad Dining Company, a full service restaurant.
