Dick & Jane's Spot

Ellensburg, Washington

101 N Pearl St @ E 1st Ave

Dick Elliot and Jane Orleman received degrees in art from Ellensburg's Central Washington University and then created Dick & Jane's Spot, transforming a house on a corner lot into an extensive collection of artwork, much of it rather whimsical. Although Dick & Jane created much of the art on display, the yard features the works of about 40 different artists.

Bottle caps and reflectors are featured prominently in the art, with thousands of each used in many of the works. Dick specialized in reflector art. His work can be found at the Yakima Valley SunDome, SeaTac Airport and elsewhere.

Dick passed away in 2008. Jane still lives in the house. It is a private residence, so please enjoy the works from outside the fence.
