SUV On A Post
Hwy 281 @ Road 1 NW, north of town
In some headhunting cultures, a victim's head was mounted on a stick and posted outside the village to scare off would-be visitors. So perhaps this SUV on a post was created by some environmentalist to serve as a warning to gas guzzling SUV drivers.
Actually I couldn't figure out whether this location was an auto salvage yard or someone's vehicle collection. In any event this was the first of four mounted vehicles I came across in just an hour's worth of driving through central Washington.

Near the posted vehicle was this whimsical outline of a man made from lighting.
