Christine Falls

Mt Rainier National Park

Ashford, Washington

Along Hwy 706 W of Paradise

Christine Falls is a 69-foot falls along Van Trump Creek in Mt. Rainier National Park. It has two drops, the lower of which is a popular photo subject, thanks to the bridge that frames it.

The falls are named after Christine Van Trump, the 9-year-old daughter of Philemon Van Trump, made the first documented climb up to Mt. Rainier's summit. Christine accompanied her father up to the 10,000-foot level on one of his later climbs.
