Mt Rainier National Park
Along Hwy 706 W of Paradise
Narada Falls is a 188-foot waterfall located west of the road leading to Paradise. The parking area is located right at the top of the falls, so to get the best view you'll want to hike a somewhat steep and slippery in places trail down to a viewing area closer to the base of the falls. Of course, you'll then have to walk the steep trail back up. But the view is worth it.
Narada Falls usually freezes in the winter, creating a wall of icicles that catch the attention of photographers and ice climbers.

More About Mt. Rainier National Park
Spectacular scenery. Great hiking. Challenging mountain climbing. Mt. Rainier has a lot to offer to those looking to get away from it all and to those looking for a great day trip out of Seattle. Narada Falls is one of many waterfalls you will find in the park.
When experiencing Mt. Rainier National Park, it can be easy to forget that Mt. Rainier is regarded as one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world. It has much in common with Mt. St. Helens. But Mt. Rainier is bigger, it's covered with much more ice and snow, and it is closer to major population centers. Lahars from past eruptions have flowed as far as present-day downtown Seattle and Tacoma. So enjoy it while you can.
