Naches Art Deco Spire
Having passed through Naches a number of times en route to Mt. Rainier from the east, I decided to get off the highway and check out the small town. I was immediately greeted by this art deco spire. Apparently it once housed a gas station.
Nearby on the ground is an old water trough now used as a planter. The trough was originally a prop used in the 1959 movie The Hanging Tree, which had been filmed in the area.
