Eaglemount Rockeries is a small open air museum on the grounds of the Eaglemount Rockery Motel/Cottages. The rockery consists of a collection of sculptures originally created by Wayne and Anna Wolfer and their family starting in the late 1940s. Many of the sculptures are made with mortar and decorated with small rocks, found objects and sometimes appropriate toys. Castles, farm buildings, even a bull ring and others are among the sculptures. Larger sculptures include an Indian village. My personal favorite is the depiction of Mt. Rushmore.
The motel itself consists of four cottages. Its location between Port Townsend and Discovery Bay is a good for exploring the sights of the northeastern Olympic Peninsula.
