Yakama Nation Cultural Center
100 Spiel-yi Loop
Toppenish is the capital of the Yakama Nation and it is home to the Yakama Nation Cultural Center (and, yes, "Yakama" is the correct spelling here). The Cultural Center features the Yakama Nation Museum, which uses life size dwellings, exhibits, dioramas to tell the Yakama story and share Yakama traditions. Special exhibits highlight the lives of Kamiakin and Strong Heart.
The Yakama Nation Cultural Center also features the Yakama Nation Library and the Winter Lodge, along with a restaurant, theatre and gift shop.
Yakama Nation Cultural Center Winter Lodge (T13A0080)
The Cultural Center's Winter Lodge is a 76-foot-tall multi-use bulding constructed to resemble a traditional Yakama winter lodge and meeting hall.
