Along Douglas St from the city center south to Dallas Rd
Named for a small hill overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Beacon Hill Park is 200 acres of gardens, ponds, walking paths, playing fields and tennis courts. It also features one of the world's tallest totem poles (127 feet tall). Concerts are held at the bandshell during summer months.

The top of Beacon Hill near the south end of the park provides views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the distant Olympic Mountains of Washington state.
