Thunderbird Park

Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Belleville St @ Douglas St

Thunderbird Park features a collection of totem poles and a big house carved and painted in the traditions of the Pacific Northwest Coast First Nations peoples, mostly following Haida, Gitxsan and Kwakwaka'wakw styles. Many of the original poles are now preserved at the neighboring Royal British Columbia Museum. The current poles featured in the park were carved on-site in the park's studio.
